Caldera Titanium Drivers inspire confidence and push the legal limits of performance to give you a competitive distance advantage. These hot 440cc club heads are forged of four separate ultra thin wall Beta Titanium parts (face, crown, skirt, and sole). These are welded together using a special Beta Ti hosel tube to create the head. Caldera Drivers feature an over-sized "Hot COR* Sweet Spot" to maximize ball launch conditions and initial velocity across a larger area of the club face. This means that even when you hit the ball less than perfectly, the face compression acts better on the ball to improve shot results. They are hot! Caldera Z440 Titanium Drivers yield the highest allowable COR of any driver in the indrustry. The oversized Caldera Z440 head is designed for improved stability on toe impact shots. It deflects less outwardly (toward the toe) than competitors heads producing straighter ball flight with less overall yardage loss. This results in improved distance and accuracy. Smaller heads, even oversized are less stable, especially those at 400cc or less torque out (twist) to a greater degree off line resulting in shorter, more errant shots.
