Two-sided, silicone-coated ripstop nylon is lightweight, compressible, and offers a high resistance to tears and UV light. This versatile tarp shelter can be erected using poles, paddles, or trees for support. A single central inseam ensures that the Scout Tarp remains waterproof and allows the fabric to stretch naturally. An adjustable shock cord along the outer edge can be used to vary tension as conditions and set up demand. Guy line storage pockets keep cordage under control when the tarp is packed, and pay out easily when the shelter is being pitched. Fabric reinforcements and a central tie in loop give the Scout Tarp a number of possible set up configurations.
